Socialized

Ferdinand Tönnies theorized,
That society has been increasingly aggrandized.
From a Gemeinschaft community,
To one that’s rationalized.
Yet many resist being wholly socialized.

In a world so meticulously organized,
It appears that today,
This structure is very legitimized.
Capitalists strive relentlessly to visualize,
Their ideal version of “socialize.”

Endlessly seeking ways to capitalize,
On everyone, regardless of their size.
Their every action feels so contrived,
A mechanism to ensure they survive.

They’re observing and waiting,
Relentlessly anticipating.
Their next prospect,
They’re methodically calculating.

So pause, reflect, and analyze,
The path we’ve tread, the goals we’ve prized.
For in this quest to rationalize,
We risk losing what truly dignifies.
